Cody Berkenpas began working at the clinic in June of 2024. Cody assists with large animal jobs and anywhere else he is needed. Cody has a hardworking demeanor and shows his passion for agriculture through his work. Cody enjoys spending time with his wife, Brooke, and his son, Barret. Cody also enjoys feeding and taking care of his cattle.
Dr. Cari Van Zweden began working at Sioux Center Vet Clinic in 2013 after graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Cari took over ownership of the Sioux Center Vet Clinic in 2019. Dr. Cari diagnoses, treats, performs surgeries, processes, consults, writes vaccination protocols and is passionate about serving her customers to meet their needs. She is married to Josh Van Zweden and they have three sons Jude, Jax, and Jameson. Cari enjoys spending time with her boys, playing the piano, loving on her fur dogs, camping and traveling.
Kelsey Claus started at Sioux Center Vet Clinic in October 2014. Kelsey is a jack of all trades at the clinic. She is mostly operates as a office manager, but also assists vets on country calls, with surgeries, helps with cleaning, helps with maintenance and is always a friendly smile. Kelsey is married to Evan and has a son named Chas and a son named Kip. She enjoys raising baby calves, riding horse and spending time with her family.
Damon Bleeker started at Sioux Center Vet Clinic in 1994. Damon is a lead support staff and part of our maintenance crew. Damon’s years of experience makes him a vital member of the team as he assists our veterinarians with their work. Damon is BQA certified and a passionate supporter of the farming community. He is married to his wife Beth, they have a son Sawyer and daughter Lauren. Damon enjoys hunting and feeding cattle.
